Meet
with you prior to your birth to identify your personal priorities
for the birth.
During the prenatal visits we will become acquainted and develop
a relationship so that you are comfortable with my presence. We
will explore and discuss your priorities, any fears or concerns,
and plan how we might best work together. |
|
Assist
you in making a birth plan
I will need to know your preferences regarding management options,
the use of pain medications and I will help you make a birth plan.
I will also want to know your own best ways of coping with pain
and fatigue and how we foresee working together.

After the birth I will remain with you for 1 – 2 hours until
you are comfortable and ready for some quiet time alone. I will
also assist with your baby’s first breastfeed. |
