Prenatal Course
 

This course is designed for first time parents or those who would like to be more involved and informed this time around.

It is specially designed to prepare you for labour, childbirth and early parenting. Topics covered include all aspect of labour and birth, breastfeeding, the physical and emotional aspects of the postpartum period, baby-care and parenting issues. You will be presented up-to-date and research-based information. By the end of the course you will be able to make informed decisions during your unique labour and birth experience. This course supports the belief that women have the right to information in order to make informed choices. The aim of the course is to empower women to know how to choose what is right for them.

A variety of teaching styles and activities are used to maximize learning and interactions between class attendants. Groups are kept small, to enhance questions and discussions. You will enjoy high-quality teaching aids, interesting videos and invigorating discussions in an informal and relaxed atmosphere.

A great opportunity to meet other women or couples who are also pregnant. Group discussions are invigorating and foster an opportunity to get to know and bond with other parents-to-be.
